Vulcan Catalytic Systems was created in the USA an 1991. Its founder, Michael J Chapman, has worked in the plastics industry since 1972. During the 1980's he came across the Catalytic Process and quickly realised its potential within the finishing industry. After working with the then main manufacturer of heater panels in the USA, Mike realised that there was further untapped development potential, and thus formed Vulcan. Now after 17 years, much development, testing and a string of US Patents to his name, Vulcan Catalytic UK has been formed in his native Britain. Now well established, Vulcan Catalytic UK provides a range of services to the UK and Europe.
With over 600 systems installed worldwide, Vulcan are the undisputed experts within this field of process heating. Gas Infra Red technology is the most environmentally friendly and energy efficient form of process heating available today. Vulcan have designed and completed the following types of Gas Catalytic Installations:
- Powder coating ovens for metal, wood & MDF
- Thermoforming ovens
- Retro fit Electric IR ovens with Gas Catalytic IR Ovens
